ACME

Acme Markets is a supermarket chain in the mid-Atlantic, southern, and northeastern United States. Acme is owned by Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based corporation SuperValu and has its headquarters in East Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, near Malvern, a Philadelphia suburb. The company operates 117 supermarkets under the Acme name in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Acme.

Albertsons

Albertsons (officially New Albertsons, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SuperValu, is a supermarket retailer that operates 463 grocery stores in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Louisiana, Nevada, Southern California, Florida and certain parts of Utah. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Albertsons.

A&P

One on the nation's best known grocery brands, A&P operates over 440 stores in the Northeast. iControl manages the newspaper and regional auto magazine categories for the chain. Amol Sayal is the primary account executive, reporting to Chris Brasse.

am/pm

EZ Energy USA Inc, a convenience store chain with close to 100 sites operating across north central Ohio and western Pennsylvania, operates stores under the am/pm and Easy Trip banners. All of EZ Energy's store are participating in the iControl program. EZ Energy is a subsidiary of EZ Energy Ltd., a publicly-traded, Israeli-based holding company.

Barnes & Noble

The nation's largest bookstore chain has been relying on iControl for the past 5 years. iControl manages the entire newspaper category for Barnes & Noble, which is based in New York City. Group VP Michael Proebstle oversees the account.

Bashas

Bashas is a grocery chain based in Arizona and operating 165 stores in AZ, CA and NM. The Bashas' Family of Stores includes four distinct formats: Bashas', Bashas' Diné, AJ's Fine Foods and Food City. The company has stores serving every county in Arizona, as well as Needles, California, and Crownpoint, New Mexico. Chris Brasse is the company's executive in charge.

Bi-Lo

BI-LO is a supermarket chain headquartered in Mauldin, South Carolina. As of May 2010, BI-LO operates 207 supermarkets in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Supermarket News ranked BI-LO No. 34 in the 2007 "Top 75 North American Food Retailers" based on 2006 fiscal year estimated sales of $3.6 billion.

CEFCO Stores

CEFCO is an independently owned chain of convenience stores based in Temple, TX. CEFCO owns and operates 121 locations across Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.

Chevron

Chevron, one of the world's largest gas & oil companies, operates stores throughout the world. In the United States, Chevron operates over 1,500 convenience stores. iControl has a national agreement with Chevron Stations, Inc., the operator of the 426 corporately-run stores, to manage the data and payment for newspaper title, auto publications, and select other goods.

Cub Foods

Founded by Minnesota-based Hooley’s Supermarkets, CUB was one of the first total discount food stores in the United States. Cub operated 46 stores, primarily around Minneapolis/St. Paul. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Cub.

Cumberland Farms

Cumberland Farms, established in 1938, operates approximately 900 stores in 11 states. Its main concentration is in the Northeast, but it also operates stores in Florida. iControl oversees newspapers and regional and auto magazines for the entire chain. Amol Sayal is the primary account executive, reporting to Chris Brasse and John D'Aloia.

CVS Pharmacy

iControl manages the newspaper category nationwide for CVS, the nation's second largest drug retailer operating over 6,500 stores from coast-to-coast. With over 2,400 newspapers on sale daily, CVS is among the 5 largest retail outlets in terms of gross sales of newspapers. Three iControl associates manage the CVS account, including an on-site analyst at CVS headquarters in Woonsocket, RI.

Dominick's

A subsidiary of Safeway, Dominick's was established in 1918 and is based in Oak Brook, IL. The chain operates 84 stores in the Chicagoland area. iControl oversees all newspaper related data and payables for Dominick's.

Duke and Duchess Shoppe

Duke and Duchess Shoppe is the banner operated by Englefield Oil, a 51 years strong convenience store chain operating 122 convenience stores in Ohio and West Virginia.

ExtraMile

ExtraMile Convenience Stores is Chevron's premiere brand of 24 hour Convenience stores. ExtraMile Stores feature a fresh look, healthier snacks, more food-to-go options and a variety of premium coffee, energy drinks and chilled waters. iControl manages ExtraMile stores as a part of its national agreement with ExtraMile's parent company, Chevron Stations, Inc.

Easy Trip (EZ Energy USA)

Easy Trip is an operating brand for EZ Energy USA Inc, a convenience store chain with close to 100 sites operating across north central Ohio and western Pennsylvania. EZ Energy is a subsidiary of EZ Energy Ltd., a publicly-traded, Israeli-based holding company.

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter is a chain of supermarkets based in Matthews, North Carolina, just outside Charlotte. As of March 2011, the chain operates 203 stores in eight states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

Farm Fresh

FARM FRESH, a Supervalu subsidiary, operates 43 grocery stores, all located in Richmond and the Hampton Roads areas of Virginia and in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Farm Fresh.

Food City

Food City is a division of Bashas. The division operates 56 stores in Arizona.

Food Maxx

Food Maxx operates 44 warehouse-style grocery stores in Northern California, each of which are open 24 hours per day.

Frys

A subsidiary of Kroger, Fry's Food & Drug operates Fry's Food Stores, Smith's and Fry's Marketplace. There are 124 locations in the marketplace. iControl is responsible for all newspaper category related payables and data.

Genuardi's

Genuardi's is a chain of food stores located in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware in the United States. Genuardi's was family-owned until it was purchased by Safeway Inc. in 2000. Genuardi's has its headquarters in East Norriton Township, Pennsylvania.

GetGo

GetGo is the convenience store division of Giant Eagle. There are 128 GetGo locations, in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio.

Giant Carlisle

Giant-Carlisle is a division of Ahold USA, and operates more than 170 stores in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia under the names of GIANT, MARTIN'S and UKROP'S. These stores compete as market leaders and are among the best known retail brands in the communities they serve.

Giant Eagle

Giant Eagle was founded in 1918 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With stores located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland, Supermarket News ranked Giant Eagle No. 21 in the 2009 "Top 75 North American Food Retailers" based on 2008 fiscal year estimated sales of $8.0 billion. In 2005, it was the 32nd largest privately held corporation, as determined by Forbes. The company had 156 company-owned and 69 franchised stores. The company also operates 128 fuel station/convenience stores under the GetGo banner.

Giant Food

Giant Food LLC is a supermarket chain with 202 locations throughout Washington, D.C., Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland. It is a part of Ahold USA's holdings. iControl manages the newspaper and trade periodical category for all 202 stores. Ayo Bakare, reporting to Group VP Chris Brasse, is the account analyst.

Haggen

Haggen Food & Pharmacy is the largest independent grocery retailer in the Pacific Northwest. Haggen operates over thirty stores under the Haggen and Top Food & Drug name primarily on the I-5 corridor between the Canadian border and the Portland, Oregon metro area.

Hess

Hess, based in Woodbridge, NJ, operates 1,277 Hess Express locations in the following states: AL, CT, DE, FL, GA, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA and in the District of Columbia. iControl oversees all Hess Express newspapers, auto magazines, and regionals. Ayo Bakare is the main account analyst, working with Director Amol Sayal and Group VP Chris Brasse.

Jewel Osco

Jewel-Osco is a supermarket chain headquartered in Itasca, Illinois. Jewel-Osco has 182 stores across northern, central, and western Illinois; eastern Iowa; and portions of northwest Indiana. Jewel-Osco and Jewel are currently wholly owned subsidiaries of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SuperValu. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Jewel Osco.

Kroger

Kroger is the nation's largest grocery chain. iControl manages the newspaper category at 11 divisions of Kroger, including Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Mid-South and Delta.

Lucky

Lucky Supermarkets is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Save Mart, operating 72 stores that are mainly in the San Francisco bay area. iControl manages the newspaper category for all stores. Ebele Ebonwu is the main account analyst, reporting to Anthony Cannady.

Martin's

Martin's Food Markets is a chain of supermarkets operating in Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. They are operated by Giant-Carlisle and are owned by Royal Ahold, who also owns Stop & Shop and Giant of Landover supermarkets in the United States. As of December 14, 2011, Giant and Martin's together have 92 gas stations and they currently have more than 180 stores in four states.

Pamida

Pamida is a regional retailer focused on bringing value and convenience close to home in small communities. Headquartered in Omaha, Neb., the company operates more than 200 stores throughout 17 states, primarily in the Midwest. Pamida carries a wide variety of merchandise including apparel, home electronics, domestics, seasonal items, toys, housewares, and grocery offerings, and features top-quality name brands. In addition, the company operates pharmacies in 142 retail stores.

Pantry (aka Kangaroo Express)

Headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, The Pantry, Inc. is the largest convenience store chain in the southeastern United States and one of the largest convenience store chains in the country. As of December 6, 2010, the Company operated 1,672 stores in thirteen states, mainly under the banner Kangaroo Express®. The Pantry's stores offer a broad selection of merchandise, as well as gasoline and other ancillary services designed to appeal to the convenience needs of its customers.

Pathmark

Pathmark is a supermarket chain headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, founded in 1968 when its parent, Supermarkets General Corporation, pulled out of the ShopRite retailers' cooperative. Pathmark was acquired by Montvale, New Jersey-based The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P). As of January 2008, A&P operates 141 stores within the Pathmark banner in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. iControl manages newspapers, auto trade titles and regional specials for every store in the chain. Amol Sayal, with support from Jeremy Ross, oversees the account.

Petro Shopping Centers

With over 50 high traffic locations, Petro is the nation's premier travel plaza chain with facilities designed to meet the needs of today's professional drivers. With locations from coast to coast and border to border, our facilities set the standard for all travel plazas. Our customer service demonstrates our sincere respect for drivers. Petro remains the highest rated truckstop chain in the nation and the clear Choice of America's Drivers. Petro was acquired by TravelCenters of America on May 31, 2007.

Randall's

Randall's Food Markets operates 112 supermarkets in the Houston, Austin, and Dallas-Fort Worth areas under the Randalls, Flagship Randalls, Tom Thumb, Flagship Tom Thumb, and Simon David banners. Randall's employs more than 10,000 associates and is the Texas division of Safeway Inc. The Texas division of Safeway is headquartered in the Westchase district of Houston.

Rite Aid

iControl manages the newspaper category for the entire Rite Aid chain. Rite Aid, the nation's third largest drug chain, operates over 5,000 stores throughout the U.S. Jeremy Holtzapple is iControl's main account executive, and he works from Rite Aid's headquarters in Camp Hill, PA. He reports to Anthony Cannady.

Safeway

iControl manages newspaper and some regional and auto magazines for Safeway in 11 of 13 divisions, encompassing over 1,300 stores, and over 800 newspapers. A team of three iControl associates are responsible for the Safeway account, with the lead account executive being Esther Ortiz, supported by director Patrick Poland. Both report to Group VP, Chris Brasse.

Save Mart

Save Mart Supermarkets owns and operates more than 240 stores in Northern and Central California and Northern Nevada under the Save Mart, S-Mart Foods, Lucky, and FoodMaxx banners. The company also owns pharmacies in 115 of its full-service stores. iControl services all divisions, except FoodMaxx, managing the newspaper category payables and data. Ebele Ebonwu is the main account analyst, reporting to Anthony Cannady.

Schnucks

Schnucks is one of the largest privately held grocery store chains in Midwestern United States. The privately-held chain operates more than 100 supermarkets in St. Louis and the Midwest. iControl manages the newspaper category payables and data for all stores in the chain. Patrick Poland oversees Schnucks.

Shaw's/Star Market

Shaw's, along with companion store Star Market, are wholly owned subsidiaries of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SuperValu. The company is the third-largest grocery group in the northeastern US; behind Stop & Shop and Hannaford, although Shaw’s is the largest supermarket chain whose stores are located entirely in New England. Shaws remains the only supermarket chain to operate in five of the six states in New England. The company is based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, employing about 30,000 associates in 171 stores. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Shaw's/Star Market.

Shoppers Food Warehouse

SHOPPERS® Food & Pharmacy operates stores in Baltimore, northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. With 56 stores in its banner, SHOPPERS targets the price-conscious consumers offering over 30,000 everyday low prices and a commitment to save up to 15 percent every day with no card needed. It is a fully owned subsidiary of Supervalu. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for SFW.

Shop & Save

Located in St. Louis, SHOP 'N SAVE® first opened its doors in 1979, and was acquired by Wetterau, Inc. in 1983. With SUPERVALU's acquisition of Wetterau in 1992, SHOP 'N SAVE became part of SUPERVALU®. Over the years, SHOP 'N SAVE has grown to 42 stores in the metro St. Louis area. During that time, stores have been enhanced to include specialty departments like bakery, deli, seafood, videos and floral. iControl manages numerous DSD categories and vendors for Shop 'n Save.

Spartans

Spartan Stores Inc., a Michigan-based grocer operating approximately 120 grocery and convenience stores operates Family Fare Supermarkets, Glen's Markets, D&W Fresh Market, Felpausch Food Centers, and VG's Grocery.

Stop & Shop

Stop & Shop is the crown jewel of Dutch company Ahold's U.S. holdings. Based in Quincy, MA, Stop & Shop operates over 400 stores in the Northeast and New England region. iControl manages the newspaper category for the entire division. Ayo Bakare is iControl's primary Stop & Shop account analyst, reporting to Chris Brasse.

Super Fresh

Super Fresh, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, operates 64 stores in the Mid Atlantic region, primarily in Maryland and Delaware. The iControl program is the exclusive data & payment processor for all stores. Amol Sayal is the director in charge of the account.

Supervalu

Supervalu, headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is the third-largest food retailing company in the United States (after Kroger and Safeway), and ranks #51 on the Fortune 100 list. On June 2, 2006, Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons, Inc. and 1,124 of its stores were sold to SuperValu. Today, SuperValu operates 2,505 food and food/drug combination stores, 878 in-store pharmacies, 117 fuel centers and serves as primary distributor to an additional 2,200 stores. Supervalu banners include Cub, Jewel-Osco, Albertsons, ACME, Shoppers Food Warehouse, and Shaw's. iControl is SUPERVALU's exclusive national partner for all Scan Based Trading activities across DSD categories.

Tom Thumb

Tom Thumb Food & Pharmacy is a chain of supermarkets in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Tom Thumb stores operate under the names Tom Thumb—traditional grocery stores; Flagship Tom Thumb—high end stores; and Simon David—also high end, usually in affluent areas. Tom Thumb and Randall's Food Markets make up the 112-store Texas division of Safeway Inc. Tom Thumb is (as of December 2005) the number three supermarket in the super-competitive Dallas/Fort Worth area (in terms of market share) behind Wal-Mart and Kroger. Stores in the Tom Thumb supermarket chain tend to be slightly more upscale and expensive than competitors such as Kroger or Albertsons. The chain's distribution center is in Roanoke, Texas

Tops Friendly Supermarkets

Tops is a regional supermarket chain operating about 125 company-owned and five franchised stores under the Tops Friendly Markets banner in central and western New York, including the Rochester and Syracuse areas, and northern Pennsylvania. Tops Markets has doubled in size in 2010 as a result of its purchase of 79 stores in four states from bankrupt rival Penn Traffic.

Travel Traders

Travel Traders, LLC was formed in 2004 and is based in Miami, Florida. Prior to being re-branded Travel Traders, the stores were operated under the brand WH Smith. The chain operates over 220 high-end convenience stores throughout the U.S., mainly located in luxury hotels. iControl manages the newspaper category payables and data for Travel Traders. Ebele Ebonwu is the main account analyst, reporting to Anthony Cannady.

Travel Centers of America

TA is a full-service national travel center chain in the U.S., with 165 locations serving hundreds of thousands of professional drivers and other highway travelers each month - including virtually all major trucking fleets.

Vons

Vons operates over 700 stores in the Southern California marketplace. A wholly-owned subsidiary, Von's was acquired by Safeway in 1988. iControl manages all newspaper, auto trader and regional trade publications for all Vons locations. Esther Ortiz oversees the account, with Patrick Poland's support. Chris Brasse is the Group VP in charge of Vons.

Waldbaums

Waldbaum's, a wholly-owned subsidiary of A&P, operates 63 stores in New York and Connecticut. It is primarily concentrated in Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. iControl manages all newspapers and specialty newsprint publications to all 63 locations, with Amol Sayal as the account executive.

Winn Dixie

iControl is the newspaper and regional auto magazine partner to Winn Dixie, managing all of the chain's 514 stores in 6 Southern states, primarily Florida. Brendan Bannon is the primary analyst on the Winn Dixie account, reporting to Mike Proebstle.
